This is one of the first interfaith initiatives by any Muslim organisation in the world eager for global peace and religious harmony.a multifaith Prayer was conducted where People of different faiths prayed for peace according to their own faith. The blanket media coverage also made the Islamic position on interfaith relations clear to everyone. Leaders from all religions prayed for peace according to their own religions and also showed to everyone how all religions can live side by side with peace and love. These activities at the conference were fully based on the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW when he SAW allowed a delegation of Christians to worship according to their own religion in Masjid Nabawi. This of course is referenced in classical books of Hadith and seerah (1). The Prophet SAW also served a delegation of Christians from Abyssinia with his own hands with food and other needs. The point to note is that when the Christian delegation was permitted by the Holy Prophet SAW to Worship in Masjid Nabawi, that entailed worshipping Jesus and the Cross, as the Quran states that Christians at that time believed in Trinity and in Jesus being god. Those who may not be aware of this hadith of the Prophet SAW may be prone to shirk attacks, but hopefully with a jab of the above lecture clip containing fully referenced hadiths their immune systems will be able to fight off such shirk attacks in the future. It is the responsibility of scholars to teach their followers such points from the life of the Prophet SAW. True scholars can never belittle such things as they have cognition of the teachings of the prophet SAW on these matters, whereas half baked scholars or self confessed ones cause confusion due to their selective understanding of the Seerah. The conference was of course attended by great Islamic scholars from around the world and the UK, who also took part in these interfaith proceedings. Some people objected this act as it was held in Islamic gathering. This video explains the reason why the multi-faith prayer was held and what is the status of multi faith prayer is Islamic gatherings. [ by Jawed Iqbal Tahiri ]
Kitab at-Tawhid (a detailed treatise on the concept of the unity of Allah)
Belief in Monotheism and Messengership are part of those basic beliefs of Islam upon which is erected the entire edifice of this great religion. Both of these two are in fact sides of the same coin. Disorder emerged when difference was created between Monotheism and Messengership and this difference resulted into downgrading of the status of the Messengership. The idea of polytheism and innovation was so much blown out of proportions that every second person was branded as polytheist. When the energies of champions of Islam were focused on these negative aspects, it caused two losses. One is that the scope of promotion of Islamic teachings got limited and secondly the Muslims became enemies of one another with their daggers drawn as result of discrepancy and hatred.
The second point which needs to be understood is that Monotheism is not merely a semantic and theoretic subject, rather it represents a particular mindset and a state in addition to being a belief, which springs from inside of man. This is that spiritual taste, which makes the person indifferent to fears and greed of all the worlds and teaches him the principles and rules of subservience to God. Due to their strong faith in Monotheism, the saints or Friends of Allah are settled on the high pedestal of nearness to Him. No power of the world can attract them or allure them away from God. In the age of decline when Monotheism became a semantic subject, it created hardness, arrogance and conceit in the dispositions of its followers whose reflections could be seen in the world. These trends and attitudes are portraying negative impression of Islam in the entire world instead of our religion’s message of peace, harmony, brotherhood, tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Noise about innovation and polytheism and reactions to it have become the symbol of internal divisiveness and lack of unity within the Muslim world. It is a different matter that the forces of falsehood and enemies of Islam have arrayed against it by rising above all divisions of caste, creed, religion, race and geography.
In these compelling circumstances it was necessary that light would have been thrown on such topics of beliefs in a purely scholarly manner with moderate pattern of thinking to cope up with the challenge so that people could have come to understand the situation the situation more clearly. To respond these critical challenges, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri raised his scholarly and argumentative voice, a voice that put a stop to the marching forces of dissention and mischief. He played crucial role in not only containing the ‘storm’ of innovation and polytheism but also in eliminating the worst ever mischief of cancellation of Prophethood. If seen in this background, this book turns out to be such a great reconstructive contribution of Shaykh-ul-Islam which would continue to influence positively for centuries to come.
Kitab-ud-Touheed is a collection of speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam which he delivered to the student of Minhaj University on the subject of lectures on the Holy Quran. Firstly these were included in “Aqeeda Touheed and Haqeeqat-e-Shirq”, which was published in 1999 for the first time with new revised edition getting published each year. Later on, lectures in English language delivered to the students of ICIS, a department of Minhaj University, were the cause behind the expansion of the subject. So when these lectures were reordered, it resulted in increasing the size of the book. It was then decided to publish it in two volumes.
The chief quality of the book is that facts have been explained with arguments and the effort has been made to help reader understand the subject. Simplicity and effective communication have been kept in view in the wake of novelty and lucidity of style and presentation, divisions of subjects and standard of arguments. The followers of Islam have been urged to inculcate such values as discretion, tolerance, balance instead of extremism etc. By grace of Allah Almighty, the study of this book would result in lessening the tensions and opposition in the realm of belief in both the Arab and non-Arab world and would help in understanding the true and actual concept of Monotheism. Important advancement would be made in bridging and eliminating the gaps between two groups in the sub-continent.
“the first 19 verses of chapter 72 (The Jinn) of holy Quran mentions about Jinn’s coming to holy Prophet (pbuh), for embracing of Islam and he (pbuh) used to teach Islam to them, in their own respective languages. Therefore, Jinn’s are also included in the ummah of holy Prophet (pbuh). It is reported by many classical Islamic authorities in their books that “Jinn’s came from Mousel in Iraq, Harran near Turkey and Naseebeen in Yemen.”
Shaykh-ul-Islam said” Imam Jalal Uddin Suyuti narrates in Al-Qassayes-ul-Qubra and many other Islamic authorities reported in their books that “The great Caliph Umer-e-Farooq (ra) narrates that “once, a very old man came to meet holy Prophet (pbuh), when he (pbuh) was staying in Makkah. The old man was speaking the language of Jinn’s (angel’s), holy Prophet (pbuh) asked him “which tribe of Jinn’s you belong to?”, he replied “I am the grandson of Iblees (Satan).” Holy Prophet (pbuh) asked “tell me your origin”, he replied ”I am Ham, the son was Heem, he was the son of Lakhis and Lakhis was the son of Iblees (Satan).” When holy Prophet (pbuh) asked about his age, he replied saying “I saw Qabeel (son of Adam (as)) murdering Habeel (son of Adam (as)); I was a kid at that time. I embraced Iman (the faith) of Ibraheem (as) and saw his people throwing him (as) into the fire, I tried to extinguish that fire. Then, I embraced Iman (the faith) of Moses (as) and he (as) taught me about the Torah (Gospel) .Finally, I embraced Iman (the faith) of Jesus (as) and he taught me about the Bible.” He further said, “O holy Prophet (pbuh), I have a message for you”. Holy Prophet replied “give me the message”, he said “Jesus (pbuh) said to me that “after my demise, holy Prophet (pbuh) will come as the last Messenger of God (pbuh), to this world, you will be alive at that time and you will get a chance to meet him (pbuh). When you meet holy Prophet (pbuh), convey my salutations to him.” Holy Prophet (pbuh) felt very happy on hearing this from Ham and thanked almighty Allah with tears of happiness in his (pbuh) eyes, he (pbuh) said “Peace be on you and my brother Jesus .” Then holy Prophet (pbuh) asked Ham “do you want anything from me?” Ham said “O Prophet (pbuh) I want to embrace Islam on your hand, please teach me some chapters of holy Quran.” Holy Prophet taught him ten chapters of holy Quran.” After narrating this whole scenario, Umer-e-Farooq (ra) said ”after that day, we never saw him again.”

It has been written that a wolf also spoke to one of the companions of the Prophet near Al-Madina, as narrated in Musnad of Ahmad, Vol.3, Page 83, Musnad Abi Saeed Al-Khudri.
Narrated Abi Saeed Al-Khudri: (While a shepherd was amongst his sheep) suddenly a wolf attacked a sheep and took it away. The shepherd chased the wolf and get back the sheep. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed the shepherd saying: “Be afraid of Allah, you have taken the provision from me which Allah gave me.” The shepherd said: “What an amazing thing! A wolf sitting on its tail speaks to me in the language of a human being.” The wolf said: “Shall I tell you something more amazing than this? There is Muhammad (the Messenger of Allah) in Yathrib (Al-Madina) informing the people about the news of the past.” Then the shepherd proceeded (towards Al-Madina) driving his sheep till he entered Al- Madina (city) , cornered his sheep to one side and came to Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad ) and informed the whole story.
Allah’s Messenger ordered for the proclamation of a congregational prayer , then he came out and asked the shepherd to inform the people (about his story) and he informed them. Then Allah’s Messenger said: “He (the shepherd) has spoken the truth . By Him (Allah) in Whose Hands my soul is, the Day of Resurrection will not be established till beasts of prey speak to the human beings, and the stick lash and the shoe-laces of a person speaks to him and his thigh informs him about his family as to what happened to them after him. Innovation in the view of Imams and Hadith-Scholars (a-Bid’a ind-al-A’imma wal-Muhaddithin )
Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri rejects the idea that Milad un nabi (saw) was NOT celebrated in the Arab world. He provides many references from the history books which clearly describes the proceedings of Milad celebrations in Mecca and Madina. He also quoted many authentic scholars in Islamic History who have mentioned the details of Mawlid celebrations in arab world. He suggested the Muslim scholars to read the history before making such statements which clearly rejects Mawlid celebrations in Islam.
